Calendar of events for 2009/2010

September 3, 2009 Workshop: New Early Childhood Quality Improvement Project (Equip): Presenter Jeanie McLoughlin who is the director of (equip) from the San Mateo County of Office Education. Jeanie will be talking about opportunities for family child care home providers to participate in this new project Funded by First 5 of San Mateo.

October 1, 2009 Board meeting/Social with board games: After our board meeting we will be having a social. Bring your favorite board games or game to share. As we play games we will have time to socialize and learn more about each other over coffee and dessert.

November 5, 2009: Workshop on Health Care

Presenter Jakki Carrillo

She will talk to our association on how to avoid, negotiating and reducing medical debt as well as talking about the hospital fair pricing act of 2006. Jakki will also cover the individual insurance market.

Tour of homes this year will be on Saturday followed by a relaxing lunch. Tickets must be purchased by April 10, 2010 ticket prices are $20.00 each look for email / fliers closer to date. Open for members and non members.

June 3, 2010: Join us for an exciting evening of food, bingo and election.
